# FAQ

Answers to common questions about Mozark MCP.

<details>

<summary>Do I need to know tool names?</summary>

No. Describe what you want in plain English. Tool names appear in these docs only so you can recognise what the assistant is doing.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Which AI clients are supported?</summary>

Any MCP client that supports remote (Streamable HTTP) servers — Claude web/desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, Windsurf, Codex and others.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can the assistant change things without asking?</summary>

Reads happen freely. Creating, saving, updating or deleting always follows an explicit request, and multi-item deletes and plan changes require confirmation.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does the AI model see my credentials?</summary>

No. Sign-in happens in your browser and the token is held by your client. The one exception is the app-upload curl command, which embeds a short-lived token so a coding agent can run it — don't share or log that command.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why does the assistant ask which organisation to use?</summary>

Because saving into the wrong organisation is silent and costly. It only asks when your context is an unconfirmed account default and you belong to more than one organisation.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why doesn't the assistant just start running my test case?</summary>

Capture options can't be added after a session starts, and the app package can't be guessed. Two quick questions up front avoid a wasted device session.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I run the same exported script on iOS and Android?</summary>

Yes, if it uses text locators — which is the default and the only thing `optics_export_yaml` produces.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is there a rate limit or quota?</summary>

Device time and AI usage count against your Mozark plan. Ask *"Show me our usage report"* to check.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Where do screenshots, videos and logs go?</summary>

They're stored with the session in Mozark. Ask the assistant to list session assets or outputs to retrieve them.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.mozark.ai/mcp/mozark-mcp-docs/security-and-help/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
