# Watch a run live

While a job is still running you can watch the device and read its logs without waiting for the report.

## Where it is

**Test Reports** → open the running job → click any cell whose status is **Running**. The session drawer opens on a **Live** tab.

```
                  Pixel 7      Galaxy S23
Add to watchlist  Passed       Running   ← click this one
```

The job report refreshes itself every few seconds, so a cell that flips to Running becomes clickable on its own.

## The three panels

| Panel          | What you see                                                       |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Live Video | The device screen as the test drives it. Read-only: you cannot tap |
| Framework Logs | What the automation framework is doing: each keyword, its result |
| Device Logs | Raw logcat (Android) or syslog (iOS) from the device |

Switching tabs keeps all three connected, so you can jump between the screen and the log without losing the stream.

## When the session ends

The **Live** tab disappears: *This session has ended - the Video and Files tabs hold the recording.*

Everything you were watching is still there afterwards: the recording on **Video**, the logs on **Files**. See [Reports](https://docs.mozark.ai/no-code-studio/running-and-reporting/reports).

## Worth knowing

| Symptom                                 | Cause                                                                              |
| --------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| No **Live** tab on a running session | Live views are off on this deployment |
| "No device is attached to this session" | The run never reached a device. Check the job report's status |
| "Live view unavailable" | The stream could not connect. The run carries on; read the report when it finishes |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.mozark.ai/no-code-studio/advanced/watch-a-run-live.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
